Our country has always operated on the principle of "Innocent Until Proven Guilty; but there is a group of people who are not being treated that way today. Today many who have been attempting to legally enter our country as refugee, immigrants or asylum seekers are not being granted that fundamental principle. They are being rounded up and placed in detention centers without being given legal counsel. The only way for them to get legal counsel is for them to hire a lawyer, but how do they do that even without help? They are not given free legal counsel and not even provided a list of lawyers to call. 

FFH has begun visiting some of these detainees in prison and are studying the Bible with many of them! Many of these dear people had to flee their homeland because of their interest in Jesus Christ. It is exciting to see how hungry they are to learn about a God of grace and mercy. We are currently studying with many of them 

In the process we have also discovered that the majority of those sitting in detention have no legal counsel, and no way to obtain it without our help! Legal counsel does not come free to these dear people as it does to the citizens of our country. FFH is determined to help as many as possible to obtain legal counsel, but we need your help!
